Tim leads the HSE BSR Regime Development and Regulatory Support functions, having worked since early 2020 to create the Building Safety Regulator and the regime of which it is a part. Across a thirty-plus year career as a health and safety inspector, he has been involved in a variety of industries and topics, including manufacturing, health services, renewable energy, transport, domestic gas and product safety. He also led operational delivery of HSE’s work in southern England on major accident hazard industries and conventional safety.
