Sarah is an experienced non-residential development professional who has an award-winning approach to creating places that strengthen feelings of purpose, belonging and pride.

In her current role, Sarah has led the development and implementation of whole-business strategy work on place-branding, placemaking, non-residential curation, communications & marketing campaigns, legacy stewardship, community partnership, and social impact – using these strategies to unite the ambitions of multiple stakeholders on one of London’s most complex and largest development projects. Sarah is also an effective and trusted Client for vitally needed social infrastructure projects.

With particular expertise in health – owing to Sarah’s role as Barking Riverside’s Healthy New Towns Programme Lead – Sarah has led the initial design of a £40 million Health and Wellbeing Hub at Barking Riverside, with an accompanying resident-led Model of Care.

In addition to health buildings, Sarah has also designed and delivered leisure, retail, F&B, ecology, education, and community buildings in order to create assets that provide both economic and social value. A champion for greater resident engagement and partnership in the development process, Sarah’s project work is recognised for making growth more equitable, transparent, and accountable, whilst evidencing that change and transformation can be truly inclusive.
